Recraft
AI image generation that outputs real vectors.
Overview
Recraft generates images and, unusually, true SVG vector output — meaning logos, icons and illustrations that scale without pixelation. It also supports style consistency across a set, which matters for brand work.
Key features
True SVG output
Editable vectors, not traced bitmaps.
Style sets
Keep a consistent look across an icon or illustration set.
Brand-consistent assets
Train a style and reuse it.

Pros & cons
Pros
- Vector output is genuinely rare among AI generators
- Strong for icon sets and simple logos
- Free daily credits
Cons
- Photorealism trails the dedicated image models
- Complex vectors still need cleanup in a design tool
Who it's not for
A recommendation is only worth something if it says who should skip the tool. Recraft is a poor fit if:
- Photoreal imagery — its strength is vector and brand-style work
- Casual one-off generation — the control surface targets designers
- Text-heavy layouts

Integrations
How to use
Ask for vector explicitly
Choose the vector style before generating, or you get a raster image.
Build a set, not one image
Use style sets so a group of icons looks like a family.
FAQs
- Can I use these as a logo?
- As a starting point, yes. A serious brand identity still needs a designer to refine and check for conflicts.

Verdict: The lowest-friction path to finished, on-brand design work, with a free tier that is a complete toolkit rather than a teaser. Precision and raw image quality trail specialist tools, but for most people producing most things, that trade is clearly worth it.
