Turn a messy task list into a real week

Plans against actual available hours and says what won't fit.

Prompt
My tasks:
{{tasks}}

Hours actually available this week: {{hours}}
Fixed commitments: {{commitments}}
What matters most: {{priority}}

Build a plan:
- Group tasks by whether they move {{priority}} forward, or don't
- Estimate hours per task, and say where you're guessing
- A day-by-day schedule that fits my real hours, not ideal hours
- What will NOT get done this week — say it plainly
- The one task that, if I only did one thing, I should do

Do not plan more than my available hours. If it doesn't fit, cut it and tell me.

Fill these in

Replace each highlighted variable before sending. Leaving them in place is the most common reason these prompts under-perform.

VariableWhat to putExample
{{tasks}}Your task list, unstructuredPaste your list
{{hours}}Realistic working hours22 hours
{{commitments}}Fixed meetings etc.Client call Tue 2pm
{{priority}}Your main goalLaunching the course

Tips for better output

  • "What will NOT get done" is the honest part most planners skip.
  • Give it your real hours, not your optimistic hours, or the plan is fiction.
