Convert modern Unicode Nepali into Preeti ASCII, for when a printer, publisher or office system still requires Preeti font documents. The output only displays correctly when the Preeti font is applied.
When you need this. Some printers, publishers and older office systems still require Preeti documents. This converts modern Unicode Nepali back into the Latin characters a Preeti document expects.
The output will look wrong — that is correct. Preeti text is Latin characters until the Preeti font is applied. Paste it into your document, select it, and set the font to Preeti. Only then does it read as Nepali.
For anything new, prefer Unicode. It works everywhere, it is searchable, and it does not depend on the reader having a font installed. Convert to Preeti only when something outside your control demands it.
